“OK, Moving On”
If you are only thinking about becoming a comedian/anne, then it is already obvious to me that you have the guts to do what it takes. You know, or at least you think, that you are funny enough to pull it off and that is an outstanding start. Let’s get some of that funny crap down on paper. Look for everyday life to make fun of and always have a wisecrack for it. If it isn’t appropriate to say it out load until stage time, then record it somewhere while it is still in your head.
Carry a recorder all of the time. Material will soon just add up instead of you saying, “I wish I could remember what I thought was so funny.” Even If it means nothing now, 3 months from now it may be so funny, you $#@! Yourself! If that is due to a flu bug, it doesn’t count, but that in and of itself is funny so write it down. Everyone loves a good, “I soiled myself,” joke. Or, that could just be me. Becoming a comedian/anne is a job. It’s a fun job, but if we are going to make it a career, we need to move forward, all of the time. There are some other great options as well.
“Becoming A Comic’s Manager”
Let’s look at that option. Do you love comedy and know someone that is great at it? How are your management skills? Wouldn’t you love to help them in their quest of becoming a comedian/anne as well? There are some good steps to get started on doing this. I will write them down on another page as soon as I can, if they are not already there.
The money isn’t that great at first but your skills will grow and your friend may not only be very good, they may end up being one of the best comic ever! Chew on that one while I get back to the subject at hand.
“No One Ever Moved Forward Without Taking A Step”
I want to hear your plans for the future. I want you to tell us what your goals are and how you are planning to move ahead on them. I want you to be able to come here and get ideas and advice as well as to share yours with those that are in need as well. I never worked out issues better in my life then the times I did it by talking it through.
