“It’s Finally Here!”
This is the one site that stand-up comedians/annes always wished had existed and now, it finally does! Here is the bonus, I want you to make yourself at home and make it your site as well. Yes, even you Mr. or Mrs. “I was only looking this page up out of curiosity.”
If you love it when it’s funny, because you love it when you laugh, and you can’t seem to wait until the next joke is told, so you tell one of your own, then this is going to be a site you will want to bookmark. Lend me a few moments of your time and I’ll tell you why.
“Here Is The Plan”
I know what you are thinking, “Oh goody, a plan…let me grab a beer so I can stomach sticking around long enough to hear it.” Or, “If this involves work of any sort I’m coming to your house and life will not be good for you.” There are reasons, well thought out as to why I left my mailing address off the site but that was not one of them.
I created Stand-Up Comedians.com because I have those in my life who have always wanted to do stand-up comedy as part of their American dream but life gets in the way. In addition, there are those around us that are the funniest people you or I have ever known that have never told a joke for a dollar but have the ability to do so.
You are thinking of that person right now. He or she was hanging with you just this past weekend and they deserve better than the hand they were dealt because they have the talent to do it. I’m going to go out on a limb and say, that person happens to be you as well.
“My Plan, And My Goal”
To find a way to get the material you have in your head and put it on a stage. If you have what it takes, I want to see you become a professional comic. Let’s make it so that instead of someone handing you a drink or drug of choice once you make them blow beer through their nose, they hand you or your friend, a check as well.
Thinking that it can’t be done or that you are not able to do it is BS! If you have talents like those, and you have a dream not anywhere close to the one you are living, then get off your duff and lets all get it done.
Those of you that are already getting your start and are here to check out what stand-up comedians.com is all about, I challenge you to help us out and be a mentor to those that you should never consider your competition, as much as you should consider them your friends.
Here is what we are going to do on a continuous basis. I’m going to set it up so that you can have your very own web page. You will be able to send your picture, your story, and a piece of material such as a video of your performance, and put it on here to be seen by agents, scouts, and other comedians/annes that want to have you on the road with them. Also, don’t forget those that just want to have you make them laugh, and can’t wait for you to come to their towns.
“Make A Difference Today!”
Only you can ultimately make the difference in your life, but making another person laugh might make a difference in someone else’s. We can work as a team and build this site to be a launching pad for those like yourself that deserve a break. I, as well as the other stand-up comedians you will be mentoring, or being mentored by, are looking forward to hearing from you really soon! Please don’t disappoint.
