Germaine Harper
Germaine Harper was born January 10, 1990 in
Flint, Mi. Germaine family move to Milwaukee, Wi in 1991, when he was one years old. Growing up in Milwaukee is where Germaine found the love for comedy. Growing up with alopecia (hair loss) kids in school would love to pick on Germaine. He was the target and most easy student to make fun of. Germaine starting writing jokes for every student in the class and started striking back with jokes. After telling jokes against the students, kids started looking at Germaine in a different way.
Germaine quickly became the funny man in school in the teacher would say tell some jokes because he always had something funny to say or do. Germaine and his family moved back to Flint, Mi, when Germaine started middle school. Being in a new city and around new kids at school, Germaine quickly express his jokes in class, trying to get kids to look past his alopecia. Kids love the jokes he told, but the teachers didn’t and it cost him to be kick out of school a lot. Germaine was popular around the school for the jokes he did. Starting High School, Germaine started writing jokes to perform, but was too young.
When he got to the eleventh grade, his first performance was in his drama class. He performed for a grade that he ask his teacher to do for the final grade. After performing for his school, Germaine sign up to perform on star search. He won a performing spot, but couldn’t make it because he had a baby on the way. After graduating high school, Germaine moved to California to chase his dream.
He moved back to Flint after a month because he was still too young to perform in the clubs. When he finally turned 21, Germaine started performing around Michigan. He performed several times at clubs, and many clubs called him back. He is currently auditioning for Stand up for Diversity and America has talent. In Flint, MI, Germaine did a radio show at The Flaminpit show, an internet show. They talk to him about his comedy and next move in life. Now Germaine is working on getting his name involve in comedy and trying to change the world with comedy.
